Girls Varsity Track · Track Season Comes to Close at Regional

The Girl’s IHSAA Regional Track Meet was held on Tuesday at IWU. Junior Bailey Cline was the lone Bruin participant. Cline advanced to the Regionals in the 800M Run. Even though Cline did not advance out of Regionals she still set a new personal record (PR) for herself and missed the school record by one second. Bailey finished 10th in a time of 2:26.88. She finished just under 11 seconds off a good pace.

“Bailey has put her whole heart and soul into her running. She has been dedicated, asked questions, come to all voluntary practices, and really put her mindset on running. Cline missed the school record by only one second, but she did set a new PR for herself! She has been such a wonderful role model for distance runners at BHS this year and I am sure she will continue to do so next year. Congratulations, Bailey, the coaches are very proud of your dedication and successes this year,” stated Assistant Coach Kacey Harlow.

Congratulations Bailey! Job well done!
