The swim teams travelled to Oak Hill and came up on the short end. The boys dropped their meet, 136-28, to fall to 0-5. The girls lost 135-50 to fall to 0-8.
Coach Geise shared, “So still no win but it isn’t always about the win sometimes. It’s just about improving and doing the best you can do. Oak Hill has a large and good program but we were pretty competitive with them in a few events. Along with giving our best, in the last two days the distance swimmers were trying a new workout method and it seemed to help. Both Quin (Blakely) and Whitley (Felver) dropped 10s in their 500 Yard Freestyle! Now we need to keep up with our had workouts so we can keep up with or get better then our components for the second half of the season!”
