Coach Smith, “Dakota Mohler, Sarah Gregory, Audrey Foster and Courtney Eppard struggled all day against some of the best 2 and 3 singles players we have seen so far this year. The senior duo of Shelby Sullivan and Jessica Millikan almost pulled off their opening match but lost in a 3rd set tiebreaker. I think 1 singles player Tori Baker learned a lot today against 3 very good opponents. She got better as the day went on and gained some valuable experience against some quality competition. This should help her as the season moves forward. She played better as the day went on and will hopefully continue to gain momentum for the rest of the season.”
The Bruins make up a postponed match on the road against Elwood on Monday at 5pm.
