The Lady Bruin golfers competed with Madison-Grant and Mississinewa at Club Run Golf Course last night. The Bruins were short handed so they did not compete as a team. Taylor Mink shot 71. Sierra Cavanaugh shot 78. Olivia Miller added a 77.
Coach Watt shared, “The girls are very eager to learn the game of golf but it takes time to master it and these girls have never played golf before and have been at it for two weeks as of now. With continued practice we hope to better ourselves as the season continues!”
Madison-Grant shot a 215 as a team. Mississeniwa shot 234.
The Bruins were also informed today that a prior opponent had to forfeit a match to the Bruins due to an ineligible player participating. The Bruins record is thus now 1-1 on the young season.
The girls will be in action this Saturday at our own Blackford Invitational at Club Run starting at 10am.
