Multiple Teams · JH Football Splits at Frankton

The junior high football teams travelled to Frankton last night with the 7th graders picking up a win in OT and the 8th graders dropping their game.

Drake Hahn ran the opening kick-off back for a touchdown to give the 7th graders the early lead. Scott Winger added the conversion. They would not scored again until a 10 yard run by Scott Winger in overtime to seal the win.

C.J. Shafer rushed for 25 yards. Winger added 22 yards on the ground.

Hahn lead the defense with 10 tackles. Winger added 6 tackles. Eric Huffman made 4 tackles and three were added by Shafer.
            The 8th graders fell to Frankton 26-12 to fall t 1-2 on the season. Carson Sehy connected with Bryce Berry for an 18 yard touchdown. Tristan Filomeno scored on a 5 yard TD run. Filomeno lead the Bruins with 37 yards rushing. Berry added 16 yards rushing.

Tommie Stiles had 4 tackles on defense. Adding 3 tackles apiece were Bill Harty, Justice Speidel, Cam Banter, Matt Deavers, and Filomeno. Filomeno also recovered a fumble.

The Bruins head to Alexandria next Tuesday. The 7th grade game kicks off at 5:30pm.
