Multiple Teams · JV Volleyball Competes at Mississinewa Invite

The JV volleyball team traveled to Mississinewa for an invite Saturday morning. The Lady Bruins would fall to Southwood (20-25,10-25), Oak Hill (20-25, 13-25), and Elwood (9-25, 10-25) to drop to 0-13 on the season.

Sophomore Jaci Rogers would return as setter, with 21 attempts and a block-assist. Freshmen Heather Harty would lead the Bruins against Southwood with 4 kills. Against Oak Hill, Rogers and freshman Paige Maloney would both earn a kill. Emma Jacobs recorded four digs.
“The girls showed resolve in the first two games, coming-out strong and making it a contest against both opponents in the first matches,” said Coach Antrim.
The girls struggled against Elwood, a CIC opponent they met on the road just last Thursday night.
Both JV and Varsity return to play on Tuesday as they host Mississinewa. It is also the night the Lady Bruins will produce a check to Cervivor for Gynecological Cancer Awareness Month.  The JV game starts at 6pm.
