Multiple Teams · Swimmers Fall to AC/Wabash

The Bruin swim teams traveled to the Wabash YMCA for a 3-way which included the host Apaches and Adams Central. The girls scored 75 on the girls side as they came up short to Wabash (105) and Adams Central (122). They are now 0-7. Natalie Blakely won the 200 Freestyle and the 100 Butterfly and Falynne Reed took 1st in diving to lead the Lady Bruins.

The boys scored 51 as they fell to Wabash (99) and Adams Central (121) as well. The boys are now 0-5.

Coach Christine Giese noted that illness has hurt the team of late. “The team has had to deal with a lot lately, especially the fact that several of the swimmers are ill. We are very thankful for the swimmers that may not have been feeling their best and still pushing through and swimming tonight. We have one more meet on Thursday night but as a coach and for the swimmers, I think we are ready for a few weeks to get healthy and work on our technique,” she shared.
