Girls Junior Varsity Tennis, Girls Varsity Tennis · Tennis Falls to Alexandria

The Lady Bruins fought hard but couldn’t come with any wins against a very good Alexandria team. Tori Baker got off to a slow start and played better as the match went on, but couldn’t overcome her 1 singles opponent. Audrey Foster and Brittaney Dillon at 2 and 3 singles also played well in a losing effort. In their first match at 1 doubles, Ashley Willmann and Skylar Stephens faced an undefeated Alexandira team and played well in a losing effort.  Coach Brian Smith remarked, “The 2 doubles team of Sierria McPherson and Kayleigh Clevenger picked up a couple games in the first set, but probably need some more time to learn to pay together. I think almost everyone played as well or better than they have all season. We just happened to be playing one of the best teams in the conference tonight.”
