For the second night in a row the Lady Bruins couldn’t get a match to go their way as Blue River Valley won all five varsity matches. One singles Tori Baker faced her best opponent so far this year and played probably her best match of the year so far in a losing effort. “Hopefully the experience will help her as the season progresses,” Head Coach Brian Smith stated. After a slow start, the one doubles team of Ashley Willmann and Skylar Stephens got things going before losing the 2nd set in a tiebreaker. Coach Smith continued, “I think the experience the two sophomores are getting at 1 doubles will help them be better the rest of this year and the following years. Audrey Foster and Britaney Dillion didn’t have one of their best nights, but I expect them to bounce back.”
