The Lady Bruins got back into the win column with a hard fought win against conference foe Frankton to finish 1-4 in the conference. Frankton started the evening off with wins at both doubles spots. Junior 1 singles player Tori Baker finished next by beating her opponent 6-1, 6-3. The win gave her a winning record in the conference at 3-2. After that it was up to the 2 Seniors at 2 and 3 singles. Brittaney Dillon won her 1st set in a close one 7-5 and Audrey Foster lost her 1st set 6-2. Both ladies were able to win their 2nd set. Dillon’s win tied the team score at 2-2. That left Foster and her opponent to decide the team match in a decisive 3rd set. Audrey got behind 5-4 but was able to win the last 3 games of the set and win her match 7-5. This gave the Lady Bruins the 3-2 victory. Coach Brian Smith shared, “I can’t say enough about how proud I was of the two seniors tonight. They kept pushing and figured out a way to come up with a victory.
