Bruin head baseball coach Tony Uggen will be holding six opportunities for baseball players ages 8-12 at the BYB Field. These will take place from 3:45-5pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays the next three weeks that include June 11, 13, 18, 20, 25 & 27.
“It’s a chance for me to see the kids down at the lower levels and for them to get a chance to continue to learn the fundamentals we teach at BHS. There is no cost for these practices,” shared Uggen. “If we want to continue to build our baseball program, we need as many learning as much as possible as early as possible. I hope to have a few of the Bruins helping out as well.”
Players interested should bring their mitt, bat and helmet each night. “We will do as much as we can in the 75 minutes each night. We chose that time so that kids playing that night can just stay after for their game. Reps for each player will be based on the number who show up each night,” Uggen concluded.
