The Central Indiana Conference athletic directors recently met to again discuss ticket prices. Each school has charged varying amounts for high school contests. That will change effective this winter. The proposed change was mentioned a few weeks ago.
As a result, all high school athletic events in the CIC will be $6. This includes one or two games night, with exception of baseball and softball double headers, at the freshmen, JV and varsity levels. Baseball/softball double headers will remain at $7.
“Several CIC schools have contemplated moving to a $6 gate. We have already been there for a couple of years. This will provide consistency to fans attending all contests at CIC schools at all high school levels,” shared athletic director Tony Uggen. “I strongly encourage our fans who have not purchased a season pass to do so. They are prorated for Adult and Family Passes. An adult can get a ticket now for $50 and Family Passes are now $133. The K-6 Student Pass and Senior Citizen Passes will stay at $25 and $40 since they are already a bargain. Those passes are good for any event at BJSHS except IHSAA events and invitationals or tournaments hosted by the Bruins so they will pay for themselves in a hurry.”
The BJSHS is also still selling reserved seats for nights the varsity boys play. Those are $20 a seat and guarantee you the same seat every night they play. 153 of the 362 available have already been sold. A secondary goal is to surround our Bruins with fans who are positive and supportive. Hope you continue to make that happen! Those tickets can be purchased at least through November 26th.
Please note that junior high events will be $4. Again, season passes allow entrance to junior high events as well.
