Stroble’s shooting continued early in the second as he hit two more 3s to help the Bruins to a 34-22 lead with just over two minutes to go in the half. Luke Brown slowly came alive in the second scoring 11 points. Stroble and Brown each had 15 at the break. The Bruins led 41-26 at the half.Cam Elam and Max Wors picked up the pace in the third quarter, but the Tigers fought to cut the lead. The Tiger had a shot to get the game within six but couldn’t get a key basket when they had the chance. The Bruins bounced back late in the quarter to take a 14 point lead to the fourth. The Bruins, with a late surge, went on to win 70-48.Brown scored 26 to lead the Bruins. Stroble scored 17. Wors added 9 and Elam 7. Peyton Hurd scored 5. Dalton Willmann tossed in 4 and Rydge Dunica added 2. Other leading stats (unofficially): Wors added 9 rebounds and 3 steals. Stroble recorded 8 rebounds. Brown pulled down 3 boards and had another big passing night with 11 assists.
The JV Bruins trailed early but found their groove and went on to win 48-35. Dayton Hoover led the Bruins with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals. Landon Grimes added 9 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Dawson Hundley and Dane Baker added 8 and 7 points respectively.
The freshman took a 10 point lead into the fourth and hung on to win an exciting game 29-25. Carson Smith led the Bruins with 15 points and Nate Limle added 7 points. Denver Kemp had 9 rebounds and 2 blocks.
