The Bruin CC teams ran strong at the Marion Regional today under cool weather conditions on a flat, fast course. Noah Kitterman advanced to semi-state with a time of 17:43.6, finishing 33rd overall, leading the Bruin runners to an 8th place finish. Norwell and Blackford had tied but the final runner placing gave Norwell the 7th place spot. Junior Donavan Osborn came in second for the Bruins, 47th overall, with a time of 18:08.5, giving him a personal record. Freshman Darius Osborn finished 51st with a time of 18:17.3. Senior Lance Manley’s last race ended with a PR of 18:18.6 and a 54th place finish. Freshman Keaton Walker completed the race with a time 20:51.1, finishing 84th, for yet another personal record. Freshman Charleston Slentz also raced his fasted time of 22:07.1. He finished 87th. Sophomore Ethan Hidy raced to the finish with a time of 22:12.5. He finished 88th.

The Blackford CC Girls team was represented individually by Allie Clamme, Samantha Williamson, and Ammee Uggen. Sam Williamson completed the season with her fastest time of the season with a time of 23:39.7 in finishing 70th. Freshman Ammee Uggen raced to the finish for a personal record of 23:41.0. She finished just behind Sam, finishing 71st. Allie Clamme was unable to finish the race due to circumstances beyond her control.

Noah Kitterman will represent Blackford at the semi-state race next weekend competing at the New Haven Championship to be ran at the Huntington University Cross Country Course.
