A list has been put together by statewide ADs showing what schools are doing in regard to COVID protocols. I will share the entire list for now since there are few of our opponents on the list yet. Over time, as those are added, I will delete the schools we do not compete against. But this will give you an idea of how different it is as schools do what they feel is best for their communities (and based on guidance from their County Health Departments).
Please keep in mind that this list may change by school depending on how COVID numbers play out in their communities.
Right now the list is not in alphabetical order. Hopefully, that changes soon. 🙂
Current spectator allowances and other information
Brebeuf Jesuit – Essential personnel, student-athletes, two family members/student-athlete, clearing the gym between JV & Varsity games, no visiting cheerleaders, dance teams, or scouts
Blackford – All nights: 250 max regardless of using 1 facility or 2. Swimming: No fans. All fans, except for infants, must have a voucher to get in. Opponents will get 50-75 vouchers in advance. BHJHS: Only participants get vouchers to hand out. Amount depends on how many participants are playing a given night. Code Orange: Vouchers may be given to anyone. Code Red: Vouchers may be given to parents/family. No visiting cheerleaders. B/GVBB: PPV on IHSAAtv. Will stream as many other sports as able for free on Blackford Sports Network.
Muncie Central – Boys V/JV BB – 15% Capacity. On-line tickets only. Girls V/JV BB 250 fans – tickets at the door. Swimming – NO Visiting spectators.
Washington Township (Valpo)- Essential personnel, participants parents/guardians and siblings of players who live in the household. No visiting cheerleaders, dance teams, or scouts.
There will be no concessions sold while in orange or red.
Hanover Central – Essential personnel, participants, parents/guardians and siblings of student athletes that live in the same household.
Morgan Township- Essential personnel, participants parents/guardians and siblings of players who live in the household. No visiting cheerleaders, dance teams, or scouts. There will be no concessions sold while in orange or red.
South Central (Union Mills) – Essential personnel, participants, parents/guardians and school aged dependent siblings.
Chesterton – Essential personnel, participants, parents/guardians & siblings of student athletes
Boone Grove– Parents/guardians and siblings
Salem – Currently no more than 50 people which includes: Players, officials, coaches, scorer, timer, camera person, etc. So basically NO fans.
Valparaiso– Parents/guardians and siblings of players who live in the household. No scouting. No visiting cheerleaders.
Monrovia – 20% capacity in orange status. 2 parents/guardians only in red status.
Mitchell– 50 Fans not including players, managers, coaches and support staff.
Carroll High School (Fort Wayne) – No spectators. Essential personnel only. As of 11/18/2020
Mishawaka HS-Basketball/Wrestling will be allowed tickets for immediate families for both teams. No Scouting, No Pep Band, No visiting cheerleaders permitted. Swimming will not allow spectators.
Ben Davis HS– Football 1500, Swimming No attendance, Basketball 2 per player, Wrestling 2 per wrestler in the Main Gym Only. No Scouting and No visitor Cheerleaders.
Merrillville- Basketball teams visiting here will be asked for a list of their parents/guardians for each player. We are trying to discourage kids unless completely necessary. We are asking the same of our basketball families.
No visiting Cheerleaders allowed.
Wrestling-We host a tournament and we will not allow any fans.
We will add to this as we make the decisions or have events in our other winter sports.
Illiana Christian- Parents and siblings of players, essential personnel, and participants. All visiting teams must submit a pass list of parents and siblings of players.
Westville- Parents of players only. Visitor section capacity is only 26.
South Putnam- B/G Basketball 500 (22%) spectators; Swimming-no spectators
North Putnam- B/G Basketball & Wrestling – YELLOW (no capacity restrictions), ORANGE 400 (25%), RED 2 per player/guardians only (10%); Swimming – no spectators. When in orange or red, no cheerleaders, no pep band.
Mt. Vernon (Fortville) – Basketball – 4 per home player, 2 for visitors, cheer team divided into groups of 5-6, No scouting, no visiting cheerleaders. Swim/Dive – 1 per athlete (home fans only) Wrestling – 2 per athlete at this time depending on numbers participating that night (maybe 4 for home if not as many matches). Home basketball/wrestling streamed free on NFHS Network and home swim/dive through Facebook Live.
Elkhart High School – two to four per athlete/coach/cheerleader (home and away)-parents, guardians, family members only. No student sections.
Tri-West HS – Home Basketball and Wrestling 4 tickets per family. Home Swim/Dive 4 tickets per family and no
visiting spectators.No travel cheerleaders.
Concord – Parents/guardians and siblings of players who live in the household (4 tickets per participant maximum). No scouting. No visiting cheerleaders. Additional limitations TBA for swimming.
Highland– Essential personnel, participants, parents/guardians and siblings of student athletes that live in the same household.
Goshen – Essential personnel includes cheerleaders, but not pep band. Cheer will not travel. . 4 tickets/student athlete for main gym events but must be from the same household of student-athlete. That is 2 tickets/SA in auxiliary gym and 1 ticket/SA in our aquatics center.
Crawfordsville HS- 4 tickets per family for basketball and wrestling. Swimming is 2 per family for both home and away team. No cheerleaders or pep band at this time.
Bishop Noll – No spectators. Essential personnel only.
Madison Consolidated – Gym-25% Capacity, Pool-50 Max Spectators, No visiting cheer at any, JH-2 tickets per player’s family for home and away
Indianapolis Cathedral – 2 per athlete/no visiting cheerleaders and no scouts – max 150
Danville – 25% capacity, which pretty much breaks down to 4 tickets per athlete with enough for a small student section. No concessions. No visiting cheerleaders.
Providence (Clarksville) – 2 vouchers to purchase tickets per visiting roster athlete/mgr/coach’s household members in the gym, no cheerleaders. All essential game personnel and 2-3 administrators permitted at no-charge. PHS is permitting the same for our team, plus other household members only, (namely siblings) which we can control that count. All of this not to exceed 25% capacity.
Rochester- 2 per participant/coach, limited to family members/guardians/caregivers; no visiting cheerleaders
Perry Central– 2 vouchers to purchase tickets per visiting roster athlete/mgr/coach household members in the gym, no cheerleaders.
Plymouth – Parents/guardians and siblings of players who live in the household (4 tickets per participant maximum). No scouting. No visiting cheerleaders. Swimming – 2 tickets per participant maximum. The number of permitted fans subject to change for tournaments or changes in local restrictions.
Mt. Vernon (Posey) – depends on the county “color”; opponents will be sent information a week in advance; tentatively, all events in Main Gym: 4 tickets (immediate household) for players/managers/coaches of both teams and home cheerleaders ONLY (no visiting cheer). Swimming & Diving: max 2 tickets per swimmer; more than 3 teams = no spectators.
Southport – Parents/guardians only for all events (2 tickets per kid) through January 16
Floyd Central – If orange, 25% capacity (700 in gym – includes cheer team, dance team, …). If red, only teams, essential personnel and parents/guardians/siblings of both teams
FW Canterbury: Currently participants, essential workers and 1 spectator per participant from both rosters. However, will reevaluate given declaration of “Red.”
Bloomington North: 200 total fans/comps in our gym for basketball, wrestling, gymnastics unless we host multiple teams who have to take up fan seating. This makes us about 7% capacity. No visiting cheerleaders. 50 total fans/comps at single gender swim meets. Likely essential workers only when it is a boys/girls meet, due to team seating. Essentially we are selling to some but not all family members with these restrictions.
Hebron- Essential personnel, participants, parents/guardians. No visiting cheerleaders. No scouts.
Kouts- Essential personnel, participants parents/guardians and siblings of players who live in the household. No visiting cheerleaders, dance teams, or scouts.
Greenwood Community-Essential personnel, 4 tickets per player, cheerleader, dancer, and opposing team players. No travel cheerleaders or visiting cheerleaders. Swimming: no fans
Tell City– Currently ‘red’ county, essential personnel, 2 parents/guardians per basketball player/wrestler, no cheer teams/pep band. swimming = essential personnel only, no fans
Jac-Cen-Del 2 tickets per player, parents/guardians. No cheerleaders, band, or dance team. Essential personnel only directed by the Ripley County Health Department.
Lakeland Christian- 20% cap. 4 tickets per rostered player/coach/cheerleader, 2 tickets per visiting player/coach. No visiting cheerleaders. No scouts. No concessions through December. Cheerleaders will not travel.
South Bend Clay– Basketball and Wrestling 2 tickets per player, parents/guardians. No visiting cheerleaders. Essential personnel only. Swimming – senior parents only. Check in sheets at the gate.
Franklin Community – While in Orange: Essential personnel, with basketball and wrestling to get 4 tickets per player/cheerleader and opposing team players. No travel cheerleaders or visiting cheerleaders. Swimming is parents only for dual meets, no spectators for multi-team meets. If the county is in Red then no spectators for any sport if still allowed to play. Concession stand is open.
Evansville Day School 2 tickets per player, parents/guardians. No cheerleaders, band, or dance team. Essential personnel only. No scouts. Non concessions and no food or drink allowed.
Switzerland County High School 2 tickets per player, parents/guardians. No cheerleaders, band, or dance team. Essential personnel only. No scouts
Union City JR/SR High School – While in Orange: On-line tickets only. Essential personnel for basketball and wrestling dual meets, 4 tickets per player/cheerleader and opposing team players. Capacity total tickets sold not to exceed 80 on visitors side and 120 on home side. No scouting. No visiting cheerleaders. The number of permitted fans subject to change for tournaments or invites that we host.
Lawrenceburg High School – For Basketball and Wrestling: In Red, 2 tickets per player/coach/home cheerleader. In Orange, 3 tickets per player/coach/home cheerleader. In Yellow, 4 tickets per player/coach/home cheerleader. In Blue. 400 people capacity. No in person scouting. No visiting cheerleaders. All spectators are to sit in the upper level of the gym.
For Swimming/Diving – No visiting fans, one fan per home athlete competing in the meet.
Victory College Prep- Essential game personnel only for all winter sports. No fans. No visiting cheerleaders. No scouting.
Harrison High School (WL) – 2 spectators per participant are allowed. No visiting cheerleaders. No scouting.
Clay City – Orange Two (2) Parents/Guardians per rostered athlete. Essential workers only. No Cheer, No Concessions. Red TBD
DeKalb High School- Home Parents/Guardians only. No visiting Fans, No Cheerleaders, No Pep Bands. Teams, Coaches and Essential workers only.
Leo Jr/Sr High School – 1 ticket per rostered athlete, No visiting cheerleaders, No scouting, No Pep Bands, Essential game personnel only – as of 11/18/2020.
Bishop Dwenger No fans allowed, no cheerleaders, no scouts while in red. Essential personnel only, visitor must send list of essential personnel.
Wawasee – Basketball/Wrestling – 20% capacity (500 spectators), 4 tickets per athlete for home fans (guaranteed), remaining tickets sold at the gate. Swimming – No visiting Fans, 2 tickets per athlete for home fans. Gymnastics – 20% capacity (100 spectators), 4 tickets per athlete for home fans (guaranteed), remaining tickets sold at the gate. Invitationals/Tournaments – Basketball/Wrestling -4 tickets per athlete only ; Swimming – No spectators
Jasper High School – We are currently Two tickets per athlete (Parents/Guardians/Siblings). We have been approved for 25% Seating Capacity in our Gymnasium (1200 Tickets) as soon as we come off of our current restrictions. Swimming is 125 with 3 teams or less. If we host a meet with more than 3 teams, NO Fans allowed.
Lanesville – Currently (in orange) 25% capacity “375 spectators.” Boys’ basketball: season ticket holders for home fans only; required voucher for guests (120).
All other events will be general admission up to 375 tickets sold.
South Central (Elizabeth) – If orange, 25% capacity (500 in gym – includes all essentials). Vouchers will be used for boys games also. If red, only teams, essential personnel and parents/guardians/siblings of both teams
Eastside High School-Red (currently) Parents/Guardians only from Eastside. (players, cheer and band) No visiting parents or fans. Orange-300 for basketball in the main gym. 100 in aux. Gym. No scouting allowed.
Heritage Christian- Parents/Guardians, Essential Personnel, and Participants . No visiting cheerleaders and No scouting.
Hamilton -Red (currently) Parents/Guardians only from Hamilton. (Players, cheerleaders).
No visiting parents or fans. Orange- 300 In the main gym. 100 in aux gym. No scouting allowed.
EAST NOBLE – Orange (current) 400 tickets total – must be purchased online…if Red, 4 tickets per rostered athlete/cheerleader
North Central Farmersburg: Red-2 per participant. Orange-4 per participant. Yellow/Blue-250 max.
WINAMAC – (Currently Orange) 25% capacity. No visiting cheerleaders. Tickets may be purchased on-line or at the door.
MILAN– Red (Current) 2 tickets per player, parents/guardians. No cheerleaders, band, or dance team. Essential personnel only. No scouts. Swimming- 2 tickets per home swimmer only, no visiting team fans. Wrestling TBD
NORTH VERMILLION– Yellow/Blue = 500 spectators(30%), Orange = 450 Spectators(25%), Red = 2 vouchers per athlete. No traveling/visitor Cheerleaders. Scouting limited to Conference Coaches only. Swimming/Wrestling 2 vouchers per athlete at all levels due to limited seating.
KNIGHTSTOWN – Orange – 2 adult spectators per player, no cheerleaders, no scouts. No Concession stand. Red – No spectators, essential workers only.
EDGEWOOD – Orange – Basketball/wrestling duals – 200 spectators – 100/side. No visiting cheerleaders. Wrestling multi-team – No spectators. Swimming – No visiting fans.
CASTLE – Orange – Basketball/Wrestling – no more than 450 total people including athletes (15% capacity). Swim meets – 112 total spectators (20%) – teams separated on pool deck for social distancing. PRAIRIE HEIGHTS HIGH SCHOOL-Red (currently) Parents/Guardians only for Home and Visitors (players, managers). Parents sign in and pay at the gate. No visiting cheerleaders. Orange-500 for basketball/wrestling in the main gym. 100 in aux. Gym. No scouting allowed.
Indianapolis Scecina – Each participant will receive 2 tickets for parents/guardians. Parents/guardians will be checked in and pay at the gate. No visiting cheerleaders and No scouting.
West Washington: Currently no more than 50 people which includes: Players, officials, coaches, scorer, timer, camera person, etc. So basically NO fans. If we are red we have to cancel all sports.
FW Blackhawk Christian – Each participant will receive 2 tickets for parents/guardians. Parents/guardians will be checked in and pay at the gate. No visiting cheerleaders and No scouting.
Michigan City Currently at 1000 capacity in our 7000 seat gym for basketball, gymnastics, wrestling. If we go to red, we will go to parents only. No visiting cheerleaders and no scouting allowed. Capacity for swimming is 100 spectators.
Randolph Southern – Currently Orange – 4 vouchers per player, manager, cheerleader, and coach for each team. If we go to red this will be reduced to 2 per person. For games in our elementary gym we are allowing only 2 vouchers per person. If we go to red we will probably not have games in this gym. No visiting cheerleaders or scouts. We are livestreaming games and asking for donations to make up for financial shortfall. Reduced concessions with only prepackaged items.
Indianapolis Lutheran: Each participant will receive 2 tickets for parents/guardians. Online ticketing only, no visiting cheerleaders and no scouts.
Scottsburg: Home fans are allowed parents and immediate household members only while visiting fans are allowed 2 tickets per player and coach. Capacity not to exceed 300. No in person scouting.
Argos – Two fans per player (for our teams and away teams), no in person scouting, no opposing team cheerleaders. All tickets are online only, no one without a ticket will be allowed. Masks must be worn at all times. We will be streaming JV/Varsity events PPV.
Culver Academies – We will not be allowing spectators to attend winter athletic events on our campus. We will livestream as many events as we can. Our Sports Information Director, Kirk Brown, will provide each visiting team with a link that can be shared with your parents and other fans. Additionally, the link to the streamed event can also be found at the following webpage by locating the competition on the calendar and clicking on the link: https://culverathletics.com/calendar. There will be no charge to view these events. No opposing team cheerleaders and no in person scouting.
Cardinal Ritter High School – We are selling 2 tickets per player, all online. No Cheerleaders and no in person scouting. We have a streaming service through NFHS Network. Minimal concessions.
Elkhart Christian Academy – Household family, only. No visiting cheerleaders. No in-person scouting. Live streaming link to come. Limited concessions. Tickets available at the gate.
South Newton-(Currently Red) Essential personnel. Only parents/guardians are allowed in at this time. No Band and Cheer. When we return to Orange we will allow parents/guardians along with siblings to enter games. Cheer and band will be permitted.
Triton Central-Currently we are 25%-selling tickets at door, no visitor cheerleaders or scouting.
Covenant Christian High School (Demotte) – 25% capacity of gym (200 people). Tickets sold at the door and is first come first served.
International School of Indiana – No fans allowed, essential personnel only (rostered players, three coaches, one manager/trainer and officials).
Noblesville: Hamilton County is currently in Orange; allowing 500 spectators (11% capacity) for basketball and wrestling. If go to Red; will be essential personnel and immediate family only up to 4 tickets per athlete. Swimming is 100 spectators for duals; no spectators for Invites.
