Bruins News · Junior High Wrestling Practice to Begin on Monday

Junior High Wrestling practice will begin on Monday, January 11th. The team will practice alongside the varsity wrestling team Monday through Friday each week from 3:30-5pm. Due to late notice, wrestlers should  join as soon as they can. Athletes should make every attempt to be practicing by next week (start as early as you can) as you must have 10 full days of practice in prior to participating in a meet. The first meet is Tuesday, February 2.

Right now there are only 6 wrestlers showing up in Final Forms, but several have probably not joined on Final Forms yet (see below).

Those in grades 5 through 8 may participate in wrestling since it is an individual sport. A reminder that you must have all “paperwork” completed in Final Forms and a copy of pages 3 & 5 of the physical on file in the BHS Athletic Office prior to participation. Please keep in mind that if you have a physical on file during the ’19-20 school year, you may complete a Health Questionaire and if you answer ‘no’ to all questions on that form, you may use your ’19-20 physical form this year as well. If you answer ‘yes’ to any questions, you will have to get a new physical.

If you have not used Final Forms before, a parent must set up an account at:
Please make sure you use email addresses that are frequently checked as coaches may send information “home” using those emails.

If you have any questions about using Final Forms, call Mr. Uggen at 765-348-7567, x2011 between 7am and 2pm weekdays or email him at

If you have questions about wrestling, please contact Coach Doug Sheveily at 765-499-7586.

A reminder that players should take a mask with them for practice and wear at any time they are not doing strenuous activity. This includes going to and leaving practices.

Good luck!
