Danielle Goodspeed

Coaching Staff / 2020-21

Team: Coed Varsity Cheer
Position: Head Coach

Danielle Goodspeed is entering her 4th year as the Varsity Head Coach at BHS. Prior to taking over the High School program she ran the Jr High program for the Bruins.

Coach Goodspeed is a 2010 graduate of Lebanon High School where she was a 4 year varsity cheerleader, lettering 8 times. Coach Goodspeed was Captain for 2 years and a member of the LHS competition cheerleading squad that placed 8th, 7th and 3rd in the State during her time at LHS. Prior to the start of her cheerleading career, Danielle was a gymnast for 6 years before switching to cheerleading in 7th grade. She began her coaching career at her alma-mater in 2011. She coached at the middle
School level for 2 years.

In the tryout season prior to her becoming the HS head coach numbers were down with only 10 girls trying out for the team; however, over the past 3 years, there have been 30 plus kids trying out each season. It’s an exciting time to be a Bruin and it’s encouraging to see the numbers and interest growing in all of the sports teams at BHS!

Coach Goodspeed is currently a stay-at-home-mom of 4. She also has a degree as a Paralegal and is currently going back to school to obtain her degree in Elementary Education.

Danielle lives in Hartford City with her husband, Ryan, and their 4 children, Gabriel, Eli, Kinley and Kerrigan.
