Varsity baseball is Postponed this Evening

Due to the forecast, and concerns about having someone injured right before the sectional due to the wet conditions, the varsity baseball game has been postponed for this evening. It will not be made up. The Bruins finish the regular season on Saturday at home with a doubleheader with Eastern Hancock beginning at 11 am.

Unified Track Hosts 5-Way Meet

Blackford Unified Track hosted its first ever 5-way meet with the following schools participating: Delta, Elwood, Norwell, and Wabash. Baseball Start Times for This Evening Announced

Due to a varsity game being added tonight after the JV game vs Daleville, the JV game will be bumped up a few minutes to shorten the evening. The JV game will be played at approximately 4:40pm. The varsity game with Eastern will follow some time around 7pm.

Varsity Baseball Game Thursday now a 5:30pm Start

Due to some testing conflicts, Adams Central has requested a later start for Thursday night’s game. Therefore, the game with Adams Central, which has now become Senior Night, will begin at 5:30pm. Bruin seniors Brandon Apple and Kyle Price, and their families, will be honored prior to the game around 5:25pm.

Girls Track Finished Season at Sectional; Many Set PRs

The Lady Bruins track team took part in the sectional last night held at IWU. Though the Bruins did finish last in the field, much due to low number of participants this spring, they did show improvement and set many PRs. Unfortunately, no one advanced to the regional so their season comes to a close.
