Alexandria wins a pair of games over JH Bruins

Blackford’s junior high football teams traveled to Alexandria Tuesday night and left still looking for their first victories of the year.  The Tigers won the 7th grade game by a score of 36-0 and defeated the 8th grade Bruins, 42-0. The 7th grade was limited to 38 yards rushing led by Wyatt Smith with 21.

BHS netters show improvement in CIC loss

Coach Alison Thompson said her Blackford tennis team showed improvement in a Central Indiana Conference last Thursday. The varsity and JV volleyball teams dropped their matches to Jay County last night at Bruin Gym. The varsity lost their match 20-25, 13-25, 10-25.
