Bruins Fall to Eastbrook & Jay County

The varisty boy’s basketball team gave it their best effort but came up short, 52-45, to Eastbrook. Blaine Riddle scored 15 to lead the Bruins. Joel Sharp added 14. On Saturday, the Bruins fell behind early, 13-0, but battled back to within 6 a couple times through the early second quarter before the Patriots pulled away.

Lady Bruins Drop 2 at Eastbrook

The varsity girl’s basketball team ended the regular season 6-15 after falling to Eastbrook, 47-20. The Lady Bruins led 11-8 after the first quarter, but only managed 9 points the rest of the game. The Bruin swim teams went to Jay County to face the host school and Muncie Burris. The Lady Bruins came home with their first victory of the season! Lady Bruin Improve to 6-13

The Lady Bruins defeated Adams Central 48-29 to improve to 6-13 on the season. Faith Morris had a monster game equalling the Lady Jets in scoring with 29 points. She also hauled down 18 boards and blocked 8 shots. The junior now averages 22.2 points and 13.5 rebounds per game. Rachel Thomas added 7 points

Lady Bruin BB Draws Bye in Sectional

The Lady Bruins basketball team drew the bye in the South Adams Sectional that takes place next week on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.  The Bruins will face the winner of Tuesday night’s game between Bluffton and Adams Central on Friday at 6pm.
