Tennis Gets 1st Win

The Bruin boy’s tennis team fell to Madison-Grant 0-5 before bouncing back to beat FW Northrop 3-2 for their first win of the season.  The Bruin then lost their 3rd match 0-5 to Carroll who hosted the Invite. Girl’s Golfers Play at Norwood

Taylor Mink shot a 58 to lead the Blackford girls golf team in this evenings meet with Huntington North and Marion at Norwood Golf Club. The Lady Bruins only had two golfers to they did not score as a team. The girls will participate in the Huntington North Sectional on Saturday at Norwood GC. Golfing begins

Girl’s Soccer Defeats Tipton, Wins 3rd in a Row!

The Lady Bruin soccer team won their 3rd in a row with a 2-0 win over Tipton tonight. Allie Jennerjahn and Kara Slusser each scored goals. Cate Bennett had 11 saves in goal. In a 2-3 loss against Jay County, the Bruins played their best game of the season.  Scott Thompson, playing a 2 ½ hour exhaustive game lost the first set by a tiebreaker (6-6 tie) 5-7 but rebounded to win the second set 6-3 and the final set by another tiebreaker (6-6) by 7-3 to win his match.  In
