Girl’s Soccer Defeats Eastern

The girl’s soccer team defeated Eastern 5-1 last night to improve to 5-7-1 on the season. Allie Jennerjahn scored 3 goals to lead the Lady Bruins. Sara Carpenter and Saylor Goodspeed each added goals. Cate Bennett had 7 saves in goal. The Lady Bruins host Jay County on Tuesday at 5:00pm.

The girls soccer team’s winning streak came to end last night after a hard fought loss to Huntington North last night 3-0. Cate Bennett had 8 saves in goal to lead the Lady Bruins. They return to action Thursday as Eastern comes to town for a 5:30pm contest.

Tennis Gets 1st Win

The Bruin boy’s tennis team fell to Madison-Grant 0-5 before bouncing back to beat FW Northrop 3-2 for their first win of the season.  The Bruin then lost their 3rd match 0-5 to Carroll who hosted the Invite. Against Northrop, the Bruins won all 3 of its singles matches and came close (4-6,2-6) in #2
