Coach Mitch Waters said, “Our team finally came out hungry and played all 4 quarters! We had a solid game plan that we were able to stick with and it worked. I am so proud of our girls, because everyone was crucial in tonight’s win. Jaycie Sones came up huge not only offensively with 16 points, but did a great job containing Wes-Dels leading scorer. Helen Whitesell added 11 and really seems like she is getting more comfortable offensively. We shot the ball the best we have all season at 42% and held Wes-Del to 19%.”
