The JV girls came out flat footed, tried bad passes over the top, had no help side or individual defense and forced shots instead of attacking which resulted in getting down early and never mentally got back into the game except the start of the 3rd quarter which only lasted for half of it.
Coach Noland stated, “although it’s tough to come out at 11:00 in the morning you always have to be ready mentally. Our team is better than that and is expected to be ready and excited to work hard and becoming better not only as an individual but as a unit. Better together means to be better together as one person cannot beat five by themselves.”
Leading scorer was Brianna Stroble with 8 points. Kiley Eppard had 4 points, Cayley Hodges had 3 points, Alexa Hurd with 2 points and Macy Cagle had 1.
