The Lady Bruins were down 11-17 after 1 and never could get back into the game. It was a rough shooting night for Blackford shooting 21%. Burris was able to get 40 shots inside the paint which really propelled them to victory.

Coach Mitch Waters said, “We completely didn’t execute our game plan tonight and it was frustrating because we have really made strides the last 4 or 5 games. We allowed one girl to score 27 against us and our entire game plan was to deny her underneath. Unfortunately we were not able to do that and she made us pay. We also had way too many turnovers against that team considering they didn’t press us or trap us one time. Tonight I felt like we mentally were not ready to go and I’m not sure if it was the quick turnaround from Saturday or what, but tomorrow we will be back at it trying to fix those areas.
