The Lady Bruins fall in a tough one 72-18. Bruins fell behind early with a score of 19-0 in the first quarter and it didn’t get any better to finish.
Coach Mitch Waters said, “There isn’t many positives to take out of this game unfortunately. We had 31 turnovers and that was the key that we talked about pregame. Our shooting was no where close this game. It is very difficult to win if you struggle to make shots and control the ball. I feel like the bad record mixed with some off time because of the weather has really sent us backwards. We just have to find a way to play with some pride and play with the same determination we had at the beginning of the season.
On a positive note, Reaghan Harding ripped down 10 rebounds and played very hard! Gretchen Messersmith had 8 points to be one of her better scoring games of the season and even though Grace Marshall doesn’t have a stat line to impress you during this game, she worked her tail off and was a vocal leader on the floor.
Bruins fall to (1-19) and play tomorrow night at Western (11-9).
