The Lady Bruins showed a lot of heart and hustle. The Lady Bruins started out with a 9-0 lead early and were up 34-27 at halftime. Unfortunately in the 3rd quarter they became a little passive and were trailing 46-44 after 3 before falling 72-66.

Coach Mitch Waters said, “I’m very proud of our effort today. I thought with the way we started we were going to pull this game out. However, 33 turnovers and fouling way too much giving up 31 free throws really set us back. We had by far our best offensive effort with 66, sadly defensively we gave up our highest point total as well. We are so close to becoming a team that people know it’s gonna be a battle no matter what the outcome is. We just haven’t played in enough close games to get over the hump. I’m very thrilled with our progress at this point.”
