The Lady Bruins started out hot with a quick 5-2 lead, but unfortunately had a tough time scoring after the start. The Lady Bruins trailed 17-5 after 1 and 34-14 at the break. Final score was 53-20.

Coach Mitch Waters said, “I thought we really started off well with great intensity! We got a lead at 5-2 and I felt like it was going to be a very back and forth game. Unfortunately, we didn’t score the rest of the quarter and they started hitting their jump shots. We tried to mix up a lot of defense, but it seemed like whatever we tried they had an answer and were very discipline doing so. We did’t rebound the ball near as well as I would have liked, but that happens when you are in a zone most of the night. We still have really struggled with turnovers. That seems to really be our problem for most of the season, even when we break the press or the trap, we seem to play scared in the half court set. We have made great strides this season and hopefully we can finish on a positive note.”
