The Lady Bruins lose 46-33 against Alexandria. The score was not a very good indicator on how well the Lady Bruins played throughout this game. It was only a 2 point game at half time and 5 points at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Coach Mitch Waters said, “We came out very well prepared for them, but we just lost steam at the end of the game. Some of that was on me, because we were so close until the last 3-5 minutes of the game I didn’t want to change our lineup too much. Another reason is because we have 6 contributors out with injuries. Our girls played very well today and I feel that had we had a little more gas at the end we would have had a chance to pick up another win. Our girls have nothing to be down about though, Alex got us by 60 last season, so we obviously have made some very good strides.”

Player of the game:
Grace Simmons with 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 steal. She really controlled the ball well at the 1 position and gave us a chance.
