The Lady Bruins looked a little sloppy the first 2 minutes missing some easy opportunities in the post, but really bounced back leading 17-4 after the first quarter. The Lady Bruins didn’t look back leading 40-13 after the 2nd quarter, 60-20 after the 3rd, and finishing with the 71-27 victory.

Coach Mitch Waters said, “Defensively, we really set the tone early creating a lot of turnovers which allowed us to get a solid lead early. It was nice for us to be able to get so many people playing time and an opportunity to show us what they have. We had 3 people in double figures (Waters, Leas, Whitesell) for the first time all season followed by Simmons 9, Sones 8, and Adney 7. As a coach that is one of those type of games that you hope to run good sets on offense, play good solid defense, and get everyone an opportunity. I think tonight we were able to accomplish that by playing all 13 girls.”
