JH Basketball Car Wash a Success!

The 8th grade girls basketball team held a car wash on Saturday the 9th of September and would like to thank the teachers, staff, family, friends, and community for supporting us. It was a great day and great team building.

Morris Academic All-State; Whittig Honorable Mention

The Indiana Basketball Coaches Association released the Academic All-State teams. The Bruins were well represented as Faith Morris earned 1st Team Honors. Alex Whittig earned Honorable Mention Honors. Both are seniors. Faith Morris will head to the Navy upon graduation. Alex Whittig will head to Manchester University where she will play softball. Faith Morris Earns All-CIC Honors

Faith Morris earned All-CIC honors for the second year in a row for the Lady Bruins. JV and Varsity Girls Fall to Eastbrook

The varsity girls basketball team improved to 5-15 after a win over Adams Central on Tuesday. The JV dropped their game. Rachel Thomas led the Lady Bruins by scoring 22 points. 8th Girls Drop 2 at East Jay Invite

The 8th grade girls suffered two losses at the East Jay Invite today. The Lady Bruins lost to Yorktown 47-27 and East Jay 39-21. The Lady Bruin basketball teams hosted Frankton last night, but came away on the short end of both games. The varsity girls played a tough first half to lead the Lady Eagles by six at the half, 26-20. But the Eagles responded in the second half and pulled away for a 55-36 win. Faith Morris
