Bruins Wrestlers Have Success at Club Open

Bruin Club Wrestlers Oliver Baronick (220) and Joey Rogers (285) were both champions this past Saturday at the Carroll Wrestling Club Open. Great job Oliver and Joey! The Blackford Wrestling Club will compete again this coming Sunday at Peru HS for the HYWAY Folkstyle State Championships. Good luck Bruins!

JH Wrestling Meet Cancelled for Tomorrow; 3-Way Now Scheduled for Thursday

The JH wrestling meet scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday) night with East Jay has been cancelled. Instead, we will move that match to Thursday and run it as a 3-Way meet with McCulloch. JH Wrestling Meet at Alexandria Now a 3-Way on March 6

The JH wrestling meet at Alexandria was to be a dual match. Due to a postponement of a match between Alexandria and Madison-Grant, they decided to wrestle the same night as our dual at Alexandria so we will go ahead and wrestle Madison-Grant again as well to get the kids an extra match. The meet

Junior High Wrestling 4-Way Added Wednesday (Tomorrow)

The junior high wrestling team will be heading to Monroe Central for a 4-way meet tomorrow that includes Randolph Southern and Muncie Southside. Semi-State Wrestling Information for Saturday at the FW Coliseum

Here is wrestling info for this Saturday’s Semi State. The Bruins send Ben Goodson at 182 pounds to compete. This is the second year in a row the Bruins have sent a wrestler to semi state. JH Picture Day Moved for Swimming & Wrestling

We have moved picture day for junior high swimming and wrestling to Wednesday, February 15. It will take place at 3:30pm at the high school. Picture forms will be sent to the junior high some time over the next couple of days.

JH Wrestling Win 2 at Northside

The JH wrestling team competed in the Muncie Northside Duals last night. The Bruins returned 2-1 on the evening as all rounds featured few matches due to low numbers of wrestlers. Still Searching for More JH Wrestlers

Junior High wrestling coach Greg Garringer is still searching for more wrestlers to join the team. There are only 6 wrestlers so far so there are plenty of weight classes left to fill. Practices run Monday to Friday for those students currently in grades 5-8. Wrestlers are asked to take a bus to door #1
