CC Open Runs for Remainder of School Year Announced

Cross-Country Coach Holly Caldwell has announced her plans for open runs the remainder of the school year. She shared, “We will be having open runs on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:30-4:30pm until school is out. Meet at the cleat house. Reed & Thurman Advance to Regional!

The cross country teams ventured to IWU for the Marion Sectional this morning. The Lady Bruins will advance two to regional….Falynne Reed and Natalie Thurman. The boys finished 10th of 10 teams. JH Girls 3rd at CIC Meet at IWU

The junior high cross country teams ran the Central Indiana Conference meet at IWU on Saturday morning for their final race of the season. The weather was a little chilly but perfect for running. Boys 7th at CIC Meet at IWU

The Varsity Cross Country teams raced well at Indiana Wesleyan this morning as they competed in the CIC Championships. Seniors Falynne Reed finished all-conference with a medal in 10th place and Andrew Thurman led the men, finishing 16th and earning a ribbon. Varsity CC Runs at New Haven Invite

The varsity cross country teams ran in the New Haven Invitational yesterday morning on the IPFW Cross Country Course at the Plex. Andrew Thurman crossed the finish line first for the men in 38th place.  He was followed by Cam Rinker in 105th, Josh Jennings in 112th and Jacob Clamme in 158th out of 161 racers.

JH CC Teams Run at New Haven Invite

The BJHS Cross Country teams ran at the New Haven Invitational on Saturday. They ran a 4k race instead of the typical 3K for most of the other meets. Cami Caldwell lead the team off with a time of 19:57 in 113th place, but Allison Jacobs was close behind in 117th in 20:05.  Ruby Slentz

JH CC Participates at Northside.

The JH cross country teams ran at Delta last night in a tri-meet with Muncie Northside. Almost all of BJHS runners had their 2nd best times of the season. Noah Kitterman (8) crossed the line for a 5th place finish in 11:26 in the 3K race just 5 seconds slower than his PR. Ethan Hidy

Bruin CC Participates at South Adams Invite; Reed 7th

The Varsity Cross Country teams traveled to Berne this Saturday to compete in the South Adams Invitational. “It was a hot, tough course and our times reflected that,” Coach Caldwell shared.  Cam Rinker finished 71st, Josh Jennings was 75th and Jacob Clamme came in 95th.
